es gibt sie ja doch noch, die super Scheunenfunde... Letzten Montag Abend saß wohl halb Porsche-Deutschland gespannt vor der Mattscheibe und verfolgte begeistert den Trödeltrupp auf  RTL II, denn die Jungens fanden einen 64er 901 mit der Fahrgestellnummer 300057 in einer Halle nahe Potsdam ! Sie verkauften den halb kompletten und halb originalen Wagen an das Porsche Museum Zuffenhausen für sage und schreibe 107.000€, wohlgemerkt für ein über seltenes Restaurationsobjekt im Zustand 5 ! verrückte Welt ...

they still exist, the great barnfinds...  Perhaps the half german Porsche community was sitting in front of their televisions and watched a German TV show about a junk crew (RTL II, Trödeltrupp), who found a '64 901 with the FIN 300057 at a barn close to Potsdam, Germany ! They sold the half complete and half original car to the Porsche Museum in Zuffenhausen for 107.000€ ! mind you for a uber rare project car in really bad condition ! crazy world ...

 proper heckmotorsportwagen

tja den diesjährigen OGP Nürburgring muss man wohl mit gemischten gefühlen abspeichern, da zum ersten dieses Jahr tatsächlich wenig Teilnehmer ihren Weg in die Eifel gefunden haben. Und zum zweiten, wäre es auch nicht gelogen, wenn man behauptet, die Veranstaltung wäre im wahrsten Sinne des Wortes abgesoffen ... Beim Marathon am Freitag musste Aufgrund der starken Regenfälle und der dazugehörigen Unfälle, das Rennen auf der Nordschleife sogar für eine Stunde unterbrochen werden. Zum Glück blieben aber ernsthafte Personenschäden über das gesamte Wochenende aus. Einer der Höhepunkte war wiedermals das Stundenrennen am Samstagabend, bis in die Nacht hinen gab es wieder super coole GT's bis Baujahr 1961 zu bewundern,  Da keiner von uns das Wetter beeinflussen kann und das mit dem Wetter in der Eifel auch so eine Sache für sich ist, hoffen wir, dass es nächstes Jahr besser wird ...

well probalby we've to save this years OGP Nürburgring with many different and mixed feelings, so there was a general less participation of racers in conrtast to the past years. It wouldn't be a lie, if I say, this edition of the OGP got tough flooded ... Even the marathon at the Nordschleife got break off for one hour, because of the crazy rain and some heavy accidents throuh the wetness. Fortunately there wasn't any serious personal injurys during the whole weekend. Another highlight was the one hour race for many super cool GT's up to 1961, once again they drove into the nightlight at saturday evening, such a great atmosphere ! Well there's nobody, who could influence the weather at anyway, especially not the Eifel weather. So there might just be the hope for proper weather at the next years event ...

Heute sind wir mal wieder ganz besonsers Stolz euch hier wieder einen eigenen Film zu präsentieren, passend zum "kinda coffee racer" Bericht über Torsten Wonka und seinem 1976 911S haben wir einen passenden  Hello I drive heckmotorsportwagen Kurzfilm parat. Dieser Film wurde mal wieder in zusammen Arbeit von Daniel Polle #danielpollevideo und meiner Wenigkeit #schaeferpictures gefilmt und bearbeitet. Also anschauen ! für alle die der Meinung sind, dass ein Porsche auf die Strecke gehört und gefahren werden muss, ist momentan Hauptsaison. Viele sitzen vor der Flimmerkiste und fiebern mit bei solch geschichtsträchtigen Rennsportveranstaltungen wie 24h Le Mans und 24h Nürburgring. Bei solch Langstreckenrennen gehören auch immer kurze Zwangspausen dazu, wo tatkräftig der Bock wieder zusammengeflickt wird und oder der nächste Fahrer, zu seinem Vergnügen, den Platz hinter dem Volante einnimmt.





 
















  
for all who are of the opinion that a Porsche has to heard on the track and gets driving, is currently high season. Many sit in front of the television and cheer on at such historic race-events as Le Mans 24h and 24h Nürburgring. At such long distance races there're always short breaks necessary to patched up the car, and or  the next driver, takes the place behind the Volante for his pleasure.

da haben unsere Kollegen von Petrolicious mal wieder ganze Arbeit geleistet und diesen coolen Kerl mit seinem heissen Ofen in diesem netten Film verpackt ! Bei diesem geilen Licht und diesem absolut stimmigen 911RS muss ich neidisch eingestehen, Jungs alles richtig gemacht !

... und noch so nen Bekloppter junger Typ, da ausm Internet ... Ich meine das durchweg positiv, da ich ja selbst ein junger, bekloppter bin und versuche hier modernen Wind in die Altherrendomäne einzubringen. Genau deshalb möchte ich euch heute auf einen weiteren Herrn aufmerksam machen, der auf sein Herz hört und sich ganz der Outlaw-Ecke verschrieben hat.  Ich spreche über Tom von ONASSIS 356 Restorations, der wahrscheinlich schon dem einen oder anderen von euch bekannt ist, der sich durch meine Linkleiste geklickt hat. Tom konstruiert und fertigt qualitativ höchstwertige Teile für euren Porsche 356, dabei bleibt es aber nicht, er wird sich zukünftig auch über die Produktion des einen oder anderen raren Bauteil kümmern.

So sorgt er zum Beispiel dafür, dass eure Schaltpausen in eurem 356B-C kürzer werden, mit einer Schaltwegverkürzung im Original-Look und dem dazugehörigen genialen Holzschaltknauf, den ihr aus dem 917 kennt.

Leider gibt es zur Zeit noch nichts genaueres, aber ich denke mal, da wird noch was cooles auf uns zu rollen !

I'm one like you

wie ihr mit sicherheit schon bemerkt habt, ist es hier gerade etwas ruhiger geworden. Das liegt aber nicht an mangelnder intersse, ganz im gegenteil, ich bin einer von euch und mache mir die Hände schmutzig. Momentan verbringe ich jede freie Minute am eigenen hotrod Projekt. Also bleibt dran !

as you have already noticed, it has been here just a little quieter at heckmotorsportwagen. It's not that I have no interest, quite the contrary, I'm one of you, and make my hands dirty. Currently I am spending every free minute on my own hotrod project. So stay tuned!
